"The Future of Conservation in America: A Chart for Rough Waters" by Jonathan B. Jarvis Lecture and Book Signing
The Muir Institute will be hosting Jonathan B. Jarvis for a special lecture and book signing on his latest book “The Future of Conservation in America: A Chart for Rough Waters.” Nominated by President Obama and confirmed by the Senate in 2009, Mr. Jarvis served as the Director of the National Park Service (NPS) for the entire eight years of the Obama administration. Mr. Jarvis is currently the Executive Director of the University of California Berkeley Institute for Parks, People and Biodiversity focused on bridging the work of research and application to parks and protected areas in the United States and around the world and creating the next generation of conservation leaders.
