I am an Assistant Specialist working in the Johnson/Jeffres group at CWS since Fall of 2021. My research interests include understanding the effects of thiamine deficiency complex on populations of California salmonids. Specifically, I am interested in its effects on steelhead trout and the shifts in diet leading to variation in thiamine levels among populations. I also partner with the Center for Community and Citizen Science to bring salmon to local middle and high school classrooms through a project that engages students with ongoing research.
