Ellie has been affiliated with the Center for Watershed Sciences since 2015. She holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky where she first became a student member of ASCE. At UC Davis, she received the NSF Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) and Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). Her research interests include: machine learning for predictive modeling in water resources management, hydro-economic optimization modeling, and adapting to climate change. Her Ph.D. advisors are Jay Lund and Jon Herman.
