Larisa is from Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from UC Davis in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Management. She began working in the Johnson-Jeffres group in the summer of 2023 and is working on preparing and post-processing otoliths for analysis, running the LA-ICPMS, and helping out with fieldwork. She enjoys working with otoliths and loves the variety of tasks and learning opportunities offered in the lab. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring California by going on road trips, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
