Bio
Madison Dunlap is a Junior Specialist at the Center for Watershed Sciences, where she works in the Aquatic Research Collective (ARC) Lab under John Durand researching the food web in the Suisun Marsh and Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. She primarily manages the lab space, and her work helps support long-term monitoring projects as well as graduate student work. 
 
Madison received a B.S. from the University of Redlands in Southern California in 2021 as well as an M.S. from Central Michigan University in 2025. She brings skills in aquatic and terrestrial invertebrate ecology with previous projects focused on pollinator monitoring and the ecosystem services of freshwater mussels. She is broadly interested in environmental monitoring, habitat restoration, and invertebrate conservation. When she is not working, she enjoys art projects, looking at plants, rollerblading, and pets of all kind.
