I am a coastal scientist and numerical modeler. I use numerical models to simulate nearshore waves, hydrodynamics and shoreline movement. My interests range from coastal erosion to tidal estuarine circulation to flooding. I like combining numerical modeling with field data to further understand physical processes. 

Recently I have been working on understanding the role of periodic marsh flooding on the nutrient and water quality fluxes within natural and altered sloughs of Suisun Marsh.
