Bio
Zoie is a Junior Specialist working with Senior Researcher Sarah Yarnell to study the effects of beaver dam analogues (BDAs) on stream and meadow restoration. She collects and analyzes hydrologic and geomorphic data from long-term monitoring sites, Child's Meadow and Van Norden Meadow.
 
Zoie graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology. During her time there, Zoie worked with the Scripps Institute of Oceanography to study whale calls and fish choruses in La Jolla Canyon, while also contributing to various other projects focused on wetland and freshwater ecology. When not in the field or lab, Zoie enjoys reading, watching movies, and digital and film photography.
