Dutch Slough is a former ranch near Oakley, California that has been converted to tidal wetlands. Multiple scientific studies are taking place at the site, including carbon flux measurements and bird usage. UC Davis is conducting fish studies to understand how fish have colonized and used newly constructed wetland habitat.
