The motivation of the 2015 field campaign was to estimate actual evapotranspiration (ETa) from fallow fields to verify whether there is any substantial water loss when a crop is not present. The 2016 field campaign was designed to estimate actual evapotranspiration from pasture, alfalfa, and corn fields in the Delta.
