Report: Flooding as part of Bay Delta Conservation Plan could ruin Yolo Bypass rice crop

A UC Davis study says "increased frequency and duration of inundation within the (Yolo) Bypass for fish habitat may translate into financial losses for farmers and the regional economy."

The report's lead author is retired professor Richard Howitt, an affiliate of the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences.
