A drought in California water funding

Ellen Hanak, a senior fellow with the Public Policy Institute of California (PPIC), says the state's voter-approved funding laws need to be changed because they are now having unintended consequences on California's water supply reliability and environmental health. Hanak makes her case in a PPIC report released today and in the latest California WaterBlog post. Report co-authors include Jay Lund, director of the Center for Watershed Sciences at UC Davis; Katrina Jessoe, an assistant professor with the center; and center researchers Josué Medellín-Azuara and Robyn Suddeth.
