The Daily Democrat, Woodland (June 26, 2014) — Story on the effect of drought on area nursery sales cites the UC Davis Center for Watershed Sciences May 19 study on the drought's impacts on agriculture overall in the Central Valley. "While the current drought is expected to impose major hardships on many farmers, small communities and the environment, it should not threaten California's overall economy," said Jay Lund, director of the center and co-author of the study.
