Coastal areas in China suffer from from global warming, sea level rising, ocean acidification, and extreme climate events. In addition, economic development and an increase in artificial structures affect species distribution. Dr. Dong's research group has focused on evaluating the impact of climate change and human activities on the intertidal community in China. Come join the conversation surrounding the ecological impacts of climate and human activities on the Chinese coastline.
