Call for Poster Abstracts
The 13th Biennial State of the San Francisco Estuary Conference will be held at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland on October 10-11, 2017.  The conference will include plenary and concurrent sessions with invited speakers and poster sessions.  The posters will be on display at the conference on October 10-11, 2017.  See the attached file for more information.  The deadline for the poster abstracts is July 24th (extended from the original posted deadline of July 7th).
 
Jean Auer Award Nominations
Every two years at the State of the Estuary Conference, the San Francisco Estuary Partnership presents the Jean Auer Environmental Award to an outstanding individual to honor his/her significant contribution toward improving environmental quality in the Bay-Delta Estuary. The award is given in memory of Jean Auer, a Bay Area environmentalist, whose ground-breaking efforts were directed particularly at improving water management in California.  See the attached announcement for more information.  Nominations are due July 28th.
 
Outstanding Environmental Project Award Nominations
Friends of the San Francisco Estuary seeks nominations of outstanding environmental projects that benefit the San Francisco Bay-Delta Estuary and its watersheds.  These projects showcase the value of partnership in making remarkable contributions to the health and resilience of the San Francisco Bay‐Delta Estuary. See the attached announcement for more information.  Nominations are due July 28th.
