Bio
Kimberly Evans graduated from UC Davis (c/o 2022) with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Management and a minor in Sociology. She works as a Junior Specialist in the Center for Watershed Sciences’ Johnson-Jeffres group, utilizing fish otoliths (“ear stones”) as a tool to reconstruct the life history of Central Valley Chinook Salmon. Her current project looks at juvenile salmon in the Sutter Bypass to understand the viability of models that relate otolith size to fish size.
