Bio
Kimberly Evans is a Masters Student in the Graduate Group in Ecology, working with John Durand in the Aquatic Research Collective. Her thesis work focuses on the Suisun Marsh, a dynamic ecological refuge located between the San Francisco Bay and the California Delta. This project aims to analyze long-term changes in fish assemblages in response to the changes in the abiotic environment. She received her B.S. degree from UC Davis, majoring in Environmental Science and minoring in Sociology. Her work prior to graduate school focused on using archival tissues, such as fish ear stones (“otoliths”), to determine growth histories in Chinook Salmon.
